MONDAY HIT LIST! Our first for the month, check out what I’m currently obsessing on. By next week, I’ll be adding new things to this list. Sorry, this blog tends to be, erm, fangirly. So I apologize in advance for anything that would sound like it’s been written by a high-strung teenager.
Favorite Series: Beauty and the Beast
Ladies and gentlemen, if you have no idea at all what or who this year’s beauty and the beast are, please crawl back to that hole you’ve been living in for the past year. (I’m just kidding, but seriously, why?) Jay Ryan and Kristin Kreuk or Vincent and Catherine, popularly known as VinCat has been melting my heart for months now!
I hate cheesy lines, and poorly written love stories, that’s why “Beauty and the Beast” didn’t seem appealing to me at all when the first teasers came out. I mean, I’m a huge fan of the cartoon, but a modernized twist and real-life characters just felt tacky. And I was so wrong!
First episode in, and I was HOOKED! Who could resist that brooding and mysterious, scarred man? Plus, you pair him up with an independent, and strong beauty (not a damsel in distress, but a detective!) They are a match made in heaven.
And, watching two gorgeous people make out is my guilty pleasure. I mean, look at that! So much sexual tension! DAMN. I swear. THESE TWO WILL BE THE DEATH OF ME.
Movie of the Week: While You Were Sleeping
Okay, so this isn’t exactly “current” since this movie was released in 1995, but I just saw it, and it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Quick question: if I write about things that happened from a 1995 movie, would it still be considered a spoiler? Because I definitely will in this post.
Honestly, Sandra Bullock doesn’t age a day. She looked like that in 1995, and she still looks like that today. Why is life so fair to her? This movie was so cute, it had the right amount of drama, romance, and humor. All the situations were so hilarious, that I couldn’t help but squirm at how all those things could happen to one person. I definitely laughed out loud at some points of this film, and in others I swooned like a high school girl.
Tossing the ring in the coin-dispenser thingy with your family standing behind you, was one of the most romantic proposals I’ve ever seen. I know it doesn’t exactly sound like it, but I swear, if you haven’t seen the film, you have to!

Hotties of the Week: Marvin Cortes & Jessie J
Do you see those rocks strategically placed around his torso? I think those are probably called abs, and he’s got quite a whole lot of them. Marvin Cortes has been my pick since the first episode of ANTM Cycle 20, and I am proud to say that he is on the top three! I honestly hope he wins!
This guy’s story, personality, and cheek bones are the top reasons why he’s still in the running to becoming America’s Next Top Model. He’s gorgeous and quirky, and his face is very high fashion, also, watch him on the show, he’s so hilarious, not because he’s cracking jokes or trying to be funny but because he’s just being himself- a horny teenage boy. They don’t call him “Starvin-Marvin” for no reason.
Jessie J is probably the most underrated performer in the world. Sorry Miley, I love you, but you couldn’t rock the bald blondie look like Jessie did. Even in that sort of hairstyle, she looks amazing!
And also, I just couldn’t help but tear up every time I watch and listen to her perform. She is just so freakin talented, a lot more people should watch and appreciate her. She deserves to be ten times more famous than she is now!
Favorite Youtuber: The Shaytards
I swear this family should have their own reality-tv show, but it almost already seems like they do because they post daily vlogs on youtube about happenings in their lives. I love watching them, and up until recently, I’ve been quite obsessed with them, because, well, there’s another addition to the family!
Imagine, FIVE KIDS! And the parent’s haven’t even reached middle age yet! Everyone in the family have their own Tard names their dad Shay makes and edits all their videos, he’s a thinspiration for lots of people because he used to be overweight and now he’s thin! There’s mommytard Colette, and their children Sontard, Princesstard, Babytard, Rocktard, and the newest addition to the family, Brotard! You can add their huge pup Zeke(tard) in the mix as well!
I love watching their family, because compared to the Kardashians and all the other families that made their lives public, the Shaytards (Butler family) are all humble, funny, wholesome, down-to-earth, and have no drama in their life. Also, the kids are not spoiled brats, and can serve as role models to a lot of others.
Well, everyone except Rocktard, he drinks at a young age already, haha!

I will not explain. Just listen to this album, and you will understand what I’m talking about. Here’s some chill, relaxed, beach music that will make you dream of swinging on a hammock in your bikini while sipping cold beer and watching the sunset. AAHHHHHH, LIFE.
Last-Song-Syndrome: The Story of my Life by One Direction
Please don’t judge me for publicly displaying my love for this British Boy Band. I tried, I swear. It took everything in my willpower to not like them, but I crumbled. Once you start watching the video diaries, there’s no way you can hate them, plus, compared to Justin Bieber, these boys are LEGIT handsome.
In public, and in front of all my friends, I’m a closet directioner, but hey, this HIT LIST asks for my current LSS, and I’m just being honest! The Story of my Life is a really sweet song. And the music video is really creative too!
